The Architectural practice of Fabian Architects, which has been established in Cape Town since 1974, has developed the expertise and experience to carry out the full range of professional services from concept design through design development, production documentation and project management in all fields of the built environment.

Notably, work has been undertaken for a wide range of clients including numerous private and institutional property investment and development companies in Cape Town, Johannesburg and London.

Design and documentation production divisions provide a quality service and include 15 Architects, 5 Interior Designers, 15 Senior Draughtsmen, a fully operational CAD Department, backed up by efficient administrative and clerical staff. Resumes of key personnel to be assigned to a particular project will be established in conjunction with the Client in order to harness the most appropriate skills within the group.

With regard to the empowerment / affirmative action component of our firm, we should point out a number of programmes within the office aimed at educating and training both within our staff component and externally where sponsorships to students at Peninsula Technikon and Cape Town Technical College have been undertaken. We were also responsible for assisting with the empowerment policy for the Capricorn Science Park where we have been working in association with an empowerment architectural associate.

Many successful associations with affirmative action architectural firms have been achieved during the construction of numerous projects including Granger Bay Court Office Building, Grandwest Casino, V&A Waterfront Residential Project and the One & Only Hotel, Spa & Resort.

As a result of our appointment for the new Investec Bank Headquarters in Cape Town, we have satisfied affirmative action policy of the City Council by associating with a previously disadvantaged professional firm.
